Fifth Logic is staffed by a core team of ex Macquarie Bank technologists and business experts, augmented by others with a similar passion for delivery excellence. Their skills have been honed working across 20+ Financial Services clients and regulators since 2017.
Since 2020, Fifth Logic have worked in Artificial intelligence, successfully designing, building and productionising several AI platforms including the market leading FinTalkr platform.

AI expertise includes prompt engineering, speech to text, text to speech, NLU, LLM's, process automation, compliance automation, financial decision making and more. Fifth Logic has expertise across Open AI (Chat GPT), Google, Watson and many other AI engines.

LEADERSHIP
James Wartho
CEO/ Principal
James has over 20 years’ experience working with leading financial organisations across London and Sydney. With Macquarie, he led trading technology globally then regulatory reform technology which included regulatory reporting, financial crime, liquidity and capital. He has led major digital product developments bringing including single bank, multi-bank and AI innovations to markets. Since 2020, James has consulted with clients and also spearheaded AI development at Fifth Logic including the market leading FinTalkr platform. James relishes challenging initiatives and turnarounds in finance.
Ashley Jeffs
CTO / Chief Architect
Ash has over 15 years’ experience driving technology change across the finance and health sectors. He has broad technical, data and AI knowledge and is able to lead large development teams to deliver outstanding technical results.
He is driven to help businesses realise their operational benefit through digital ‘factory’ transformations: leveraging cloud native pipeline delivery, data fabrics and containerisation. ​
Ash leads Fifth Logic architecture consulting as well as platform developments.

Doug Jenkins
Partner - Financial Services
Doug is a senior IT Leader with 30 years experience in financial technology, including most recently 8 years as CIO at APRA (Australian Prudential Regulation Authority) and 21 years at Macquarie Group.​

Doug has a strong track record of building successful partnerships between technology, business and vendor stakeholders to achieve exceptional outcomes for all.
